Phosphate esters are commonly used in machinery lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and lubricant additives.
Proper and safe operation of machinery depends on specific formulations, and users of these types of products must routinely monitor the fluids in use. Energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) is a fast, simple method to solve these analytical needs. This spectrometer is compact and features powerful and easy-to-use Matching Library software. Commercial standards can be expensive and may or may not model your blends. With user-definable Matching Libraries, you can easily match your XRF to your specific formulations.
